This was for Big Dave’s World Heavyweight Championship.

The only real notable aspect of this match was that Big Dave hit Finlay with a muscle buster of all things midway through the match.  The majority of the match was occupied by the story of ex-stablemates Finlay and Booker NOT working together to take out Big Dave. And then working together. And then Hornswoggle showed up so Finlay could whip out his stick. I don’t know. Wrestling shouldn’t be this hard. Based on Finlay’s performance though, there was potential for a hot story of the veteran Finlay desperately clawing for a world title. Dave won after a Big Dave Bomb on Finlay. (**1/4)
