This is more of a PSA, but as handy tips go, it's pretty darn useful, especially if you're one of those who didn't get a code. It turns out you might have actually, but that you were looking in the wrong direction.

PSA: Gmail users, check the 'promotions' subfolder for the beta e-mail
"As in the title - I got the game in my library 2 days ago, but missed the e-mail 2 hours ago because it was in the 'promotions' folder for which I do not get notifications as the e-mails don't go to the general inbox."

Preordered TD2 and entered the code into the Ubisoft site and have been waiting for my email and still haven't received it, so I logged into my ubisoft account and under the Beta Access section there was a code waiting for me. Just thought I'd let people know incase it may be helpful to someone.
EDIT: Verify your Ubisoft account, it seems to make a difference.

We're less than seven hours away from the start of Ubisoft's Division 2 Private Beta. Invite codes for the game started to roll out on Wednesday and the preload on all platforms also got underway.
However, not everyone will necessarily have gained access. Sorry if you're one of the people who missed out.
Thankfully, you might still be able to play if you have a friend who made it in because certain players should be able to invite up to three friends to join in with the action.
Here's what it says on the Ubisoft support website:
"Unless you were invited yourself, you can invite up to 3 friends to fight on your side. To do that, simply connect with your Ubisoft credentials on the PRIVATE BETA WEBSITE and select your friends. They will receive an invitation email where they will have to log into the BETA WEBSITE to activate their access. "Please note that geographical restrictions will apply to your selected friends - they have to live in one of the supported countries for this Private Beta. North Korea is not eligible for participation."Also, be aware that you can only invite friends playing on the same platform as yours. They will have 48 hours to accept your invitation."

Original Story - The Division 2's private beta is set to go live tomorrow, and with that Ubisoft will be showing off the sequel to the shared world shooter that everyone's been keen to play since its reveal last year.
At the time of writing, pre-load is available on all platforms, so if you have access to the demo and want to get in on the action, the best thing you can do is get the client for the beta downloaded as soon as possible (more information on that below).
The beta is set to be live over the weekend, and access will only be granted via codes Ubisoft sends out, or for people who have pre-ordered the game.

The Division 2 beta will go live on all platforms at the same time, and end at the same time on PS4, Xbox One and PC, too.
There will be two main dates and times to be aware of: when the beta first goes live, and when Ubisoft will roll out the tease for the end-game, level 30 content.

The best way to access The Division 2's beta is to pre-order the game.
If you pre-order The Division 2 from a store or digital storefront, you will receive a code to access the beta either from the retailer or an email if you order digitally.
If you pre-ordered The Division 2 at retail, your retailer will provide you with a Private Beta access code - you can redeem that here.
Alternatively, you can redeem this key on the Xbox Store or PlayStation Store.
If you want to sign-up for beta access, things get a little bit more convoluted - your first step will be to head to the sign-up section on the site and select which platform you'd like to the beta on - PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC.
Next, sign into your Uplay account and confirm your email address - and you're done! NOTE: Registering does not guarantee pre-order access.
