I am a price shopper. Unlike many, I don't buy everything at Sam's, only when Sam's has the best price. If you like walnuts, these win. Very few broke pieces. They are fresh and yummy and have always been IN stock when I need them. I buy a variety of nuts at Sam's, mix them in a large roasting pan, and pack them in little zippy snack bags. Great for a healthy take a long snack at work, school or instead of junk food when watching TV. I save the snack bags and reuse them for the next time.
As a bonus, the plastic "jar" is sturdy and easily reusable to store a ton of items. Pet toys, pet treats, cereal, pasta, dried beans, nuts and bolts in the workshop, spare change, Q Tips, cotton balls, etc.. I never throw them out or recycle.

Looks like there are issues with whoever is supplying these nuts; this must be part of the reason why you can't find these in the stores anymore & they are "out of stock" online. I guess I will have to go with the Diamond brand (which is the same price per pound). The only problem? The Diamond brand is only available in store (you can't order online). It's frustrating because there USED TO BE no issue with these Member Mark walnuts. Now there appears to be several issues (quality; lack of supply; etc). Whoever decided to change the look of the packaging, the supplier, and anything else that led to this literal mess has some explaining to do. It's the holidays; it's baking season; customers need their walnuts. And this happens??!!??

We have been buying walnuts from Sam's for years!!! Purchase at least 3 bags EVERY time we visit the store. They obviously changed their supplier when they changed their packaging. Quality control is lacking at this point and really needs to be addressed. Nut quality is fresh, taste is okay...maybe less than what we were accustomed to in the past. Biggest change we saw was the amount of "settlement" left in the bag. Always had it, but this is ridiculous!!! Had to use a slotted spoon to get the smaller pieces. So... they are walnuts... just be prepared to deal with it!

These are really good. Too bad they took away free shipping from plus members. I won’t be buying these again since I’m not going to pay for shipping and they are not available in my club. It’s a shame Sam’s Club has treated the plus members this way. Doing away with the free shipping and trying to slide it in under the rug with a vague email is insulting to long time customers. They could have grandfathered in current members, or offered another tier of membership to those of us that have been members for decades. Shameful!
