What a wonderful place. I just went to this temple for the second time yesterday with my wife. It is peaceful and everything points to Jesus Christ, whom we go there to worship. If you are not a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or do not have what we call a "temple recommend," you can still walk the grounds or go inside the first area inside the doors.

The Seattle Temple is really gorgeous and is located in Bellevue, across from BCC.

It is the 15th largest temple in square footage in the Mormon church. The grounds are large, with a garden, walking path down in front of the water fountain, and lawn surrounding the temple. At night, the temple is lit up and looks really different than in the daytime.

Whether you're Mormon or not, you're welcome to visit the grounds and see the flowers, admire the architecture or come here for respite from the world. It's ok to take pictures, too.

This temple has been a focal point of my life. Having grown up in Bellevue I have been able to see the temple from 2 of the 4 houses I grew up in and I've attended church at the chapel behind the temple for most of my life. To me the temple is a symbol of eternal growth, of eternal families, and it is the House of the Lord. Just like in the Bible, God's church had a holy temple where people would go to pray and be closer to God. That is a purpose of this building in a nutshell.

My parents and siblings, wife's parents and her siblings and my wife and I were all married at this temple. It is very special to me.

The temple grounds are beautiful kept. Flowers are all around no matter the season and the gardens are open to the public. Lights illuminate the temple at night time, giving it the illusion that it is floating above the hillside. I can't deny that the box design of this temple is more underwhelming than other temples, but it's not the outside of the temple that matters.

Gorgeous temple!! So glad I was able to come see it being away from home and not able to go to my church this weekend. This place makes me feel at home. Such a sweet spirit here. They do a great job at maintaining the grounds and I love the statues outside.

This is another one of my favorite places in the world. Always so beautiful and majestic. I love taking the exit off the highway, circling up and over and then seeing the Temple. It just jumps right at you. It's amazing.
If your ever in the area, you should drive by and see it. I would definitely recommend it.

If you're in need of a place to clear your head and gain some peace of mind walking the grounds of the House of the Lord is a marvelous place to go for such needs.

For example, after too many hours in doors trying to keep your children entertained during General Conference broadcast, heading here for a little walk-about proved very helpful.

An amazingly beautiful building! The Seattle temple feels like heaven on earth. This is one of the few places where you can go and not feel judged, were you can pray and feel the spirit, and where you can truly feel closer to God.

The members who work here are all very kind and caring. There is a reverent peaceful feeling that you will feel from the moment you enter until the moment you leave. I appreciate the brothers and sisters that give their time and service so we all can receive the blessings of the temple.

Parking is great, it is easy to find, and there are lots of restaurants if you get hungry.
