The 32-year-old forward has put pen to paper on a new deal that will keep him at the club until 2010.
Del Piero has been at Juve since signing form Padova in 1993 at the age of 18, and has since become the club's all-time top goalscorer with 217 goals in 517 appearances.
During his time with the club, he has won seven league titles, one Italian cup and one Champions League trophy.
Del Piero said: "I have undertaken a decisive choice in my career and my life. Juventus has given me so much and it is here where I wish to continue to win.
"I share a project which I am confident will help us return to give great satisfaction to our fans."
Juve president Cobolli Gigli admitted to his delight at the deal.
"We are extremely satisfied. This agreement consolidates our trusting relationship with a great champion.
"Del Piero represents our values and our projects. Throughout his career he has always given passion and professionalism while honouring with great performances our colours. I am certain he will be crucial in the coming years."
