Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero is unlikely to be interested in finishing his career with rivals AC Milan, according to his brother and agent.

The 35-year-old is still waiting to see whether he will be offered a new contract by the Turin giants, having stated that he will leave Italy if he is not offered fresh terms.

Stefano Del Piero told Calciomercato.it: "The Milan president knows about football, he understands and he is a passionate football fan. It's not the first time he compliments Alessandro.

"On other occasions there were plenty of compliments from Milan directors. His words are pleasing, but Alessandro is focused exclusively on Juventus and this season."

Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi had stated earlier this week, after seeing his side beaten 2-1 by Juve: "I went into the dressing room to congratulate everyone, above all Del Piero.

"I told him that I know his contract is up and I offered him the chance to come to Milan. He is an extraordinary champion. Hopefully he might finish his career at Milan."
